Schroth PSSE Therapist

I was an Osteopath for 30 years, qualifying in 1990 from the British School of Osteopathy. In my practice I treated all ages from babies to older adults, and worked with other osteopaths, acupuncturists, chiropodists/podiatrists and counsellors. I am now retired from osteopathy, concentrating on treating scoliosis.

My interest in scoliosis arose from my youngest son being diagnosed with a lumbar curve at the age of 14. Between his first and second x ray appointment , he did curve specific exercises, from the original Lehnert-Schroth textbook, resulting in a reduction in curve angle.

After seeing such a demonstration of efficacy, I trained at the Asklepios clinic in Bad Sobernheim in 2012. I supplemented my training with the Best Practice basic course in 2017, and the Advanced course in 2019. I keep updated by attending the SOSORT conferences and taking part in webinars, most recently participating in a kyphosis and scoliosis workshop in January 2026.
